I am a licensed mental health therapist who specializes in working with adults striving to build a richer relationship with the life they are living. Whether processing the complex emotions of childhood trauma, or trying to manage current life challenges, my approach is with equal respect for the courage both require. My practice as a therapist is to encourage, guide, and witness the reclamation of one's life.
By coming full circle back to oneself, we learn to develop ownership of our experiences in a way that fosters healing and growth. My belief is that as we begin to understand and receive validation for how we are feeling, we will begin to have a greater appreciation for our ability to navigate through the more difficult parts of our journey. My hope for you would be that through our work together, you would develop a deeper capacity to know yourself; thus, a truer sense of compassion for the rigors of our humanness.

I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) as a mode of treatment for recovering from traumatic life events.
I also incorporate the use of creative expression and body awareness skills to help facilitate movement towards healing and wholeness.
Along the journey, we must face many situations where we do not know where to go or how to get there.
We are not schooled in how to move with dignity and grace through the many endings that visit us in our lives.
I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) as a mode of treatment for recovering from traumatic life events.

The cost per 50-minute session is $130.00.
If you are experiencing economic hardship and are in need of a sliding scale fee, I am willing to consider fee adjustments, which can be negotiated during our initial session.
If you are insured with a different provider and would like to submit our counseling sessions for "out-of-network" coverage, I will provide a monthly statement of services that can be submitted for reimbursement directly to you.
It will be important that you speak to your insurance provider regarding reimbursement rate, co-pays, and deductibles prior to starting therapy.
