Dr. Partida provides both pharmacotherapy and individual psychodynamic psychotherapy for adults. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Areas of interest in her practice include mood disorders such as major depression, post-partum depression and dysthymia; anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, social phobia, post traumatic stress disorder; attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, adjustment disorders, and personality disorders.

She obtained her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine.
She then completed her general adult psychiatry residency training at the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.
During her last year of residency she served as the W. Walter Menninger M.D. Chief Resident.
She is certified as a diplomate in the specialty of psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
