I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience as a psychotherapist and life coach. My theoretical orientation is based on a number of evidence-based practices. I create a positive therapeutic experience by providing my clients with a safe environment in which they can openly process their life experiences at a pace that is comfortable for them.
I collaborate with my clients to identify the areas in their lives that they want to change so that they can achieve a greater sense of balance, awareness, and happiness. Please contact me for a free consultation or to make an appointment. Psychotherapy is a supportive process that helps clients learn about their feelings, moods, thoughts, and behaviors.
Throughout the process, clients learn healthier and more constructive ways to manage and cope with the issues that cause them distress. Typically, clients engage in psychotherapy when they are struggling with a mental health concern or when they are experiencing a stressful life change or transition.

Jeremy has helped me through some of the toughest times in my life.
The past few years I've dealt with a myriad of issues ranging from an ailing father to the end of a ten year relationship to the guilt that comes with adultery.
I have never once felt that Jeremy was judging me.
If anything, he has been nothing but supportive of the decisions I have made to find peace in my life.
His true talent is helping you find happiness and his friendly demeanor makes it very easy to develop the sense of trust necessary for you both to figure out the best way to do that.

In my practice, I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to best serve my client's concerns and unique circumstances.
This evidence-based treatment approach is based on the principle that our thoughts inform the way we feel and even behave.
By exploring the distorted beliefs and thinking that lead to maladaptive behaviors, clients can improve the way they feel and subsequently act.
For many clients, this results in finding a better way of coping with distress and their mental health symptoms.

A portion of the cost may be covered by a client's insurance benefits once their deductible has been satisfied.
I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Cigna, several Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits, and all out-of-network provider plans.
Clients may also choose to pay for their therapy sessions out-of-pocket.
This may occur in situations where I am not a participating provider on their insurance network or if they simply want to avoid using their benefits for privacy reasons.

Maintaining a client's privacy is taken very seriously and all interactions and client records are confidential.
However, there exist several situations where the disclosure of client information may be shared without consent.
These situations include when a client is suicidal or homicidal and intends on harming themselves or others.
The law also demands that confidentiality be broken when a client reports the abuse of a child, elderly person, or disabled person.
A client's confidential information may also be legally required by way of a subpoena or court order.
