In my work as a clinical psychologist, I help parents, children, teens, and adults with narcissistic parents lead healthier, happier lives. I bring over twenty years' experience to my practice. I have extensive training in the treatment of anxiety disorders and in the use of clinical hypnosis. Recently I was honored to be elected as a Member-At Large to the board of the New England Society for Clinical Hypnosis.

I am the only therapist in New England certified in the model of therapy based on Will I Ever Be Good Enough: Healing the Daughters of Narcissistic Mothers by Dr. Karyl McBride. One of the things I love most about my work is that I never stop learning-from my clients, my ongoing professional training, and my experience as a mother to two daughters.

I will treat you with respect and dignity, whether you call, email, or see me in my office.
Services
In CBT, the two of us work together to understand the factors which contribute to your anxiety.
You'll learn the facts about anxiety and why it's been able to take such a hold of your life.
Then we'll develop a treatment plan, tailored to your needs and goals.
You'll learn new skills to practice, based on evidence-based strategies for anxiety, including mindfulness, exposure and response prevention, and acceptance skills.
Therapy can help adults with narcissistic parents understand the dynamics of their family of origin, help them feel less stigma, and develop plans to cope with their parents.
As a clinical psychologist, I listen to my clients' stories and, together, we make sense and meaning from them.
People's stories are the foundation of my work.
Over the years I've been in practice, I've read many, many books: books about psychology, self-help, fiction, memoirs.
These books have taught me, and changed me.
I encourage my clients to read them, too.
I've always loved everything about books and reading: books, libraries, bookstores.
When I was growing up, I imagined opening a bookstore/cafe, where people could read and hang out.
