Our practice has been serving the Austin community since 2008. We provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy for a variety of psychiatric conditions in patients 15 years of age and older. Our philosophy is to provide exceptional, dependable, personalized and compassionate patient care. Mariela Fuenmayor, MD is trained and experienced in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
We work with our patients and their families in a multidisciplinary approach, along with psychotherapists, primary care physicians, and other health care providers involved in the patient's care. This approach benefits the patients, by focusing attention on their individual needs, taking into consideration the mind and body as a whole. We provide our patients with psychoeducation about their conditions, as well as strategies to help them cope.

For your convenience, we accept: cash, checks, credit/debit cards.
Currently we only accept Seton Employee Insurance and private pay patients.
We do provide a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Many insurance plans will reimburse you a percentage of the expenses.
Please call your insurance prior to your appointment, to inquire about your percentage of coverage.
When you make an appointment, the provider's time is blocked for you.
