Home - Psychotherapy and Consultation in California, Bay Area, Los Angeles, Berkeley and Online. Therapy to help with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, inner critic, creative blocks, grief and loss. Online, California and Berkeley therapist providing depth psychotherapy for people who want to live a joyful and vibrant life, but feel beaten up by their own inner critic and systemic barriers.

I work with folks who are creative, innovative, and have unique perspectives on the world. If you believe that knowing yourself in a deep way can open up potential space for repair and healing, I could be the right therapist for you. There is so much to grieve and love in this world of ours: our personal stories and family histories, the troubles of loved ones, our social and political problems, and our planet.

All of this can feel exhausting or impossible to do alone. Stress and pressure from family, work, internal expectations, and people you love or want to impress can take their toll on you.
Services
I'm a Berkeley therapist for people who've had to parent themselves.

With me, you will be seen, validated, and understood so that you can live a freer, more open, and vibrant life.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a BART- accessible practice in Berkeley, CA, (Ohlone).
I am currently only conducting clinical work online via video or telephone.
I offer psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for resilient people who are learning how to ask for help.
I offer a supportive, empathic, and thoughtful presence in your journey toward growth, community resonance, and healthy relationships.
Psychotherapy and psychoanalysis can help you change.
But, change is not easy.
You'll probably find things you've buried begin to make their way to the surface.
You might feel things you haven't felt in a long time.
You might feel things that hurt.
And you might feel relief, hope, despair, frustration, and a lot of feelings you have pushed aside.
A Berkeley psychotherapist for teens and youth with self-harm, depression, anxiety, death & grief & loss, and eating disorders, parent relationships, and identity issues.
Walking distance from Berkeley High School and close to other Berkeley schools.
Being a young person in our culture brings a very particular set of challenges, particularly if you tend to feel somewhat (or very) different from those around you-- like what works for "most people" doesn't really fit for you.
Not everyone is the same, yet you might find yourself boxed in with prescribed methods of living that may not be what you might choose for yourself.
Psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed consultation for therapists and clinicians in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Trauma, Borderline, Depression, Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, Relational.
Online or in person at my Berkeley office.
I provide consultation for therapists who are feeling stuck and challenged in the clinical work.
It can be so helpful to invite another mind to think about your cases, and I offer an analytic and trauma-informed perspective to help you with projection, countertransference, and projective identification so you can expand and deepen your clinical thinking.
Psychotherapy forms and office policies including fees, social media policy, informed consent for treatment, and HIPAA disclosure and privacy protection.
The "frame" is one of the most important parts of the therapeutic relationship.
The frame holds our work, and takes care of both of us as we dive in together and swim around in the deep.
These documents are part of that frame, and we will talk about them during our first session.
My fee for a 50 minute session is $200.
If you are in need of therapy and my fee is out of reach, I can try to help you find a therapist who is able to offer a lower rate.
