Chicago Mindful Psychotherapy (CMP) is a group practice based in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood with an additional location in Chicago's Loop. It became a subsidiary of Andersonville Psychology in January of 2020 as part of our longer-term goal of increasing access to mental health care throughout the Chicago area. The practice provides psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families.
Additionally, CMP's team facilitates a variety of group therapy offerings, including Mindful Anger Management, and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR). CMP's team consists of highly skilled, diversely qualified clinicians with specialities that include the integration of mindfulness skills and meditation, as well as addiction and recovery support, somatic-based therapeutic practices, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)- among other specialities.
They are psychotherapists first and foremost, and each clinician has their own personal relationship to mindfulness in addition to their training in mental health care.

Services
Our mission is to increase access to trauma-informed, evidence-based, and LGBTQ+ affirmative psychotherapy and psychological services.
Trauma, depression, anxiety, and other problems can have a tremendous impact on our ability to be productive and happy.
Navigating the process of finding a therapist you can trust, who accepts your insurance or is affordable, and who you "click" with can add additional layers of stress when you are already struggling.
Andersonville Psychology seeks to provide as much support as possible during this process whether we end up working together or not.
