Thank you for visiting. At times, life can be very challenging, and it can be extremely helpful to have an outside perspective and talk with someone who can help you to see things differently. If you are currently struggling with something in your life, know that you are not alone. About 20% of US adults experience mental health disorders, with anxiety and depression being among the most common.
However, only about 40% of those with a mental health disorder seek help. Seeing a therapist may be just the thing you need to help you overcome current challenges. If you are interested in making a change in your life, please explore my site further as I would love to be able to help. My name is Brittney Poppe, and I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in providing psychotherapy for adults and older adults.
I have worked with a variety of clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, pain, loss of functioning, coping with chronic illnesses, caregiving responsibilities, and grief.

Services
I provide individual and group psychotherapy for a wide variety of concerns and disorders such as those listed below.
I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and interpersonal therapy.
However, I typically use an integrative approach and individualize the treatment for each unique person who comes to me seeking help.
I am also available to conduct neuropsychological assessments to diagnose Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia.
Along with that, I can provide assistance to families who are struggling to care for a loved one with dementia, whether it be due to behavioral problems associated with dementia or simply feeling overwhelmed with caregiving responsibilities.
