Services
Psychotherapy or talk therapy is best for the individual who wants to increase their compassion and self-esteem, overcome obstacles, make healthy decisions, and reach goals.
Individual therapy facilitates self-growth and an increase in awareness.
By taking an inventory in your past physical, emotional, and mental health, we can address your concerns and guide you into developing the best course of action.
As we work together through potential discomfort and intense emotions, identifying any underlying causes of stress and providing strategies for changing behaviors and unwanted thoughts, you often feel an increased level of confidence and comfort.
Adolescent therapy incorporates a variety of methods used to help children or adolescents with their behavior, emotions, and relationships.
They may be able to share their feelings and resolve problems through talking, drawing, building, play therapy, and pretending.
These avenues of expression allow them to resolve conflicts, understand their feelings and issues, receive emotional support, and rehearse new solutions to their recurring problems.
Goals can include better communication, better decision-making skills, motivation, effective task organization and time management, self-esteem, anxiety management, and healthy relationships, among others.
How much does your relationship mean to you?
What would you do to save it?
Joint therapy sessions for partners or married couples can resolve current issues, provide a check-up during a transition period or influx of stress, to prevent an exacerbation of issues, or solidify your relationship.
The longer a destructive pattern has been set in, the more challenging it is to correct.
Let us help you into an objective look at your relationship, facilitate conflict resolution, and improve the overall satisfaction of your relationship.
Physical, emotional or mental pain speaks so loudly it is difficult to ignore.
We are often tempted to flight or flee.
This may take the form of anger, feeling overwhelmed or frightened, helpless or hopeless or sometimes over-indulging in behaviors we know are not good for us.
Yet, the more we try to fight or run, the discomfort seems to only speak more loudly, and becomes more intense.
Instead of feeling better, we feel worse.
Though we cannot always force the pain to go away, we can CHANGE the RELATIONSHIP we have with that discomfort.
With experience serving the families in Poway, Escondido, and the surrounding areas of San Diego, we can provide you and your family with the quality treatment you need.
Please call the office today to schedule your appointment.
We look forward to guiding you through your transformation in a safe space.
